IMPORTANT: Participation in the BTM event requires registration and acceptance of the Terms of Use and Privacy Policy. This legal notice governs access to and use of the website, the events, registration and payment processes, as well as the relationship between BTM and its users.

Merely accessing this website does not establish a commercial relationship between BTM and the user. Accessing and browsing this website implies acceptance of and familiarity with the legal notices, conditions, and terms of use contained herein. 

BTM expressly informs and guarantees users that their personal data will not be transferred to third-party companies under any circumstances; should any transfer of personal data be required, the express, informed, and unequivocal consent of the data subjects would be requested beforehand. 

Participants may unsubscribe from any provided services by sending an explicit written request to the official BTM email address.

• The only way to register for the BTM event is via the website www.balitangomarathon.com; no other registration methods are accepted.
• Registration is personal and non-transferable; resale is prohibited.
• The organization will not guarantee the acceptance of any participant who registers individually. The waiting list may exist and priority is determined by the number of both roles (to achieve a balance number of leaders and followers), the approved registration date and other considerations. 
• The organization will pair registrants based on the order of registration. It is important to clarify that the organization is not responsible for finding partners for leaders and followers; it will only handle pairings based on the order of registration.
• Once your registration is approved, you will be sent an email with the payment details.
• Registration is considered valid only if the payment has been verified.

• The organization reserves the right to change any activity or modify schedules and prices if deemed necessary to improve the quality of the event or in response to urgent, unforeseen circumstances.
• The organization reserves the right of admission, particularly in cases of misconduct or altercations—past or present—involving other participants, third parties, or the organization itself, or in cases of intoxication, etc.
• Minors may not register for the event without their parents or legal guardians.
• The use of cameras or any other imaging device for unauthorized commercial or professional purposes is prohibited.
• The use of talcum powder or similar products that alter the slip characteristics of the dance floor is prohibited without the express permission of the organization. 
• Acceptance of entry to the event—whether online or in-person—implies consent to having your image recorded for dissemination on the organization's social media channels. Should you wish to not be filmed or posted on Social media, please notify the organizer.
• Serious violations of the aforementioned rules may result in expulsion from the event, with no right to any claim or appeal.
• Under no circumstances is the organization responsible for the purchase of airline tickets or hotel room reservations.
• This event focuses on celebrating friendship and making new friends. For this reason, ideological, political, and religious issues are excluded; the organizers reserve the right of admission regarding anyone who causes conflict in this regard.
• Using the event to make political statements regarding anyone's home country's conflicts, government, or political campaigns is strictly prohibited.

BTM is committed to reviewing each individual case in detail regarding registration cancellation and refund policies, with the aim of providing the best possible service. In any case, the general cancellation and refund policy is as follows:

• From today until February 1st, 2027: 50% refund.
• From February 1st, 2027, onwards: No refunds will be issued.

All approved refunds will be processed as quickly as possible, subject to the organization's capabilities. Should the event be cancelled for reasons beyond the organization's control, BTM will evaluate the possibility of transferring the ticket value to the next event or issuing a 50% refund.
